Since 2018, over 560,000 builders around the world have been involved, which shows that developers are learning and growing through competing experience. Today we are excited that we can expand to the generative era with AWS Artificial Intelligence (AI) League.
This is a unique competitive experience – your chance to dive deep into generative AI regardless of your skill level, compete with peers and create solutions that solve real business problems through engaging and competitive experience.

With AI AI League, your organization organizes private tournaments where teams are working and competing to solve cases of business use in the real world using AI practical skills. Participants produce effective challenges and fine -tuning models and build powerful generative AI solutions relevant to their business. During the competition, the participants’ solutions are evaluated according to the reference standards on the ranking in real time, which monitors performance based on accuracy and latency.
The AWS AI League experience begins with a two -hour practical workshop led by AWS experts. This is followed by experimenting with their own pace, which culminated in the Gameshow style, where participants present their generative creations AI dealing with business challenges. Organizations can set up their own AI AI League within half a day. The scalable design supports 500 to 5,000 employees while maintaining the same effective timeline.
The program, supported by up to $ 2 million in AWS Credits and $ 25,000 at the AWS Re: Invent 2025 championship, provides a unique opportunity to resolve real business challenges.
AWS AI League transforms how organizations develop generative abilities AI
AWS AI League transforms how organizations develop generative skills by a combination of practical skills development, domain expertise and gamification. This approach allows AI learning accessible and engaging to all skill levels. Teams cooperate through industrial specific challenges that reflect actual organizational needs, each challenge providing reference data sets and rating standards that reflect real business requirements.
- Customizable challenges specific to industry- Code the competitions to your specific business context. Medical teams are working to summarize patients, financial services focus on fraud detection, and media companies are developing solutions to creating content.
- Integrated experience from AWS AI Stack – Participants gain practical experience with AWS AI and ML, including Amazon Sagemaker AI, Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Nova, accessible from Amazon Sagemaker Unified Studio. Teams work in a secure environment controlled in the AWS accounts of their organization.
- Tracking performance in real time- The leaderboard evaluates the administration against established benchmarks and reference standards throughout the competition and provides immediate feedback on accuracy and speed, so teams can iterate and improve their solutions. During the last round, this scoring includes a professional evaluation where domain and live audience experts participate in real time voting to determine which AI Solutions best deal with real business challenges.

- AWS AI League offers two basic competitions:
- Prompt Sage – Final Fast Battle – a race to create perfect AI challenges that unlocks breakthrough solutions. Whether you detect financial fraud or streamline health care procedures, each word counts when they climb on the ranking by learning with zero shot and chain.
- Tune whis – Model championships-generated AI models meet their match when you solve them into industrially specific powerhouses. Armed with your expertise and specialized questions, competitors of fine fine -tuning that is smoothly talking about your business language. The victory goes to the one who achieves the perfect balance of the performance of the blazing, the flash efficiency and the cost optimization.
Given that generative AI is constantly evolving, AWS AI League regularly introduces new challenges and formats in addition to these songs.

PS: Writing a blog post on AWS is always a team effort, although you can see only one name under the name of the post. In this case, I would like to thank Natasya Idries for her generous help with technical guidance and expertise, which allowed this overview and comprehensively.
